Your Work Style in Color: A Colorful Approach to Working Relationships

Workplace conflicts often arise because different people have different ways of doing things. OfficeTeam and the International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP®) have collaborated with Insights®, a leading people development company, to identify four sets of work preferences, each of which is represented by a particular color energy.

Take our online survey to identify your leading work style color energy. Then, download our free guide, Your Work Style in Color: A Colorful Approach to Working Relationships, to learn:

  • More about the four color energies
  • How to collaborate better with other work style types
  • Tips for overcoming common conflicts in the workplace

Highlights from the research:

  • 41% of administrative professionals said they have a different work style than their boss.
  • 65% of support staff said they make a strong effort to adapt to their manager's work style. 58% indicated their supervisor only adjusts "somewhat" to their work style, and 14% said their managers don't adjust to their style at all.
  • 70% of administrative professionals said it could be challenging to work with someone who has a different work style, but 66% cited benefits to working with those who have different approaches than themselves.
